Our
story begins in the late 70's when we started collecting
baseball
sports cards and sports memorabilia with the idea of someday opening
our own sports cards and memorabilia business. Finally, in 1992, we
decided to take the plunge and start our own business. Since baseball
cards and baseball collectibles were to be the main focus, we settled
on the name A&D Baseball Collectibles. Our idea was to sell our
sports cards and memorabilia at sports card shows and by mail order.
After
a few years we decided that we should expand our business
and offer
more than just baseball sports cards and baseball memorabilia. So...in
1995 we began adding additional sports cards including football,
basketball hockey, and golf. Several years later we decided to add a
full-line of the Ultra Pro holders and supplies. Even though we
expanded into all sports and sports card protectors, we decided to keep
our business name as A&D Baseball Collectibles.
With
our ever expanding inventory we began looking into ways
we could reach
more collectors. Early in 1997 with the popularity of the internet
retail sites, we decided to set up a web site and began the long saga
of learning about meta tags, search engines, domain names and robots.
We soon realized that we needed a more definitive name for our website
thus AD Sports Cards Etc. came into existence.
We
have been very busy over the past few years and we enjoy
ourselves
immensely. We have not regretted our decision to expand
and create a web site. Business on the web has been brisk. We became so
busy that we decided to stop doing the card shows and concentrate all
our energy on the website.
Most
people we have dealt with have been trustworthy, courteous
and kind and
we thank the many fine people with whom we have dealt. We continue to
get repeat customers and we appreciate those who continue to visit our
site and who refer friends and family to us.

AD Sports Cards Etc. you will find boxes, sets and newest
team sets of
sports cards from the major sports card companies: Topps, Donruss,
Bowman, Fleer, Upper Deck, Playoff and Score. We offer the newest
releases along with the older boxes and sets. The cards are for the
sports baseball, basketball, and football. On
occasion we
will also have hockey and golf sports cards. You
will also
find a full-line of ultra pro card holders and protectors including
toploaders, sleeves, pocket pages, sports binders, sports albums, screw
downs and more.
